I am back in Abilene after a great trip back down to Falcon, Sugar and Amistad. I had three , three day trips lined up this time and ended up doing just my first two. My third trip booked on Sugar got canceled , due to him worried about going and than he goes with another guide, why can’t people just be up front about their change of plans. I do not care about excuses or changes I just do not like people lying about it. Anyway this freed me up to go meet my Bass Champs partner on Amistad Sat and it paid off in a big way. I caught 15 fish on my first stop. Kenneth and I both had our own boats so we took advantage of covering more water. We meet back up at noon and put our heads together on what we had found and man did we make the right adjustments. My nest stop on a different pattern I hooked up on a 7 pounder and 5 cast later caught a 10 lb 2 oz. I texted Kenneth and clued him in is to what I had found and 10 min later he get a 9 lb 1 oz. We was going to spend Sat and Sunday , but at that point our work was over. I will be here in Abilene until Champs this Sat and soon after that I am back south again. I have some good dates left if you want to fish Sugar only as I am off limits on Falcon Mar 15,16,17,18,19,20,21,22,23. Get in touch with me and lets get it on. Thanks again for the cancelation that let me go to Amistad I hope it pays of for me.

Just got back last night from a three day trip with Kirby and Steve. We had for the most part great weather and the fish responded well. We boated 171 fish in the three days. Could it have been better yes a lot . We all had spells of not putting them in the boat. At times it would be one of us loosing 8 to 10 fish in a roll. I could have took a ton more pictures , but as you can tell we had plenty. We never made a cast the whole trip, other to clean our line out to make another flip. Sugar was good to use , but really I think better times are coming real soon. We had a blast. I did weigh a 13 lb 5 oz that a netter took out of a net beside us. this is the biggest I have ever seen caught in a net. It should have been a triple as I landed a 7 lb 12 , Kirby had one on a lot bigger and lost it at the boat and the netters were fighting the 13 pounder in the net all at the same time. We at that point were really on some big ones. I fish Falcon Wed , Thur, Friday , I am going to try to talk them into Sugar for Thur depending on how Falcon fishes Wed. I have done some scouting on Falcon last Tues , Wed, Thur and did really well catching about 30 each day. I had a 9 lb and a 7 lb and several 5 to 6 pounders here on Falcon. We have a front coming Tuesday and it will probably slow things down a little.

I had Arron on Sugar Friday, Sat and Sunday. The weather was just not very good on Friday and Sat. finally Sunday it got nice and we finally started catching some good fish. Arron’s best for the trip was a 7 lb 12 oz. I took my friend John out on Falcon Tuesday and the weather was nice other than dealing with a bunch of fog early. We got on a bunch of good fish up in the day. I have a trip Friday, Sat and Sunday again on Sugar and the weather looks better than this past weekend so I think the fish will respond.
