IMG_1863 IMG_1864 IMG_1865 IMG_1866I had my favorite client out today, my wife Sheretta . It had been over two years since I have had her in the boat. She was a little rusty at first, but it did not take her long to get back in the saddle . We only stayed out about 3 hours and caught 47 fish for out efforts. Here is the great thing we caught a bunch of quality and all of them flipping , as this is what I taught her to do and as you can see from the pictures , she is damn good at it. I leave tomorrow but will be back on the 4th of Oct. I plan on fishing about two weeks so if you want to come get in touch with me. I will be taking Sugar and Falcon trips in Oct. Falcon is really on fire and Sugar is always a little better so lets get a trip on the books.

Jimmy and Rusty and I caught about 150 fish in the three day trip. I would have had a few more pictures of them with some 5 lb fish , but they had them on there camera. Anyway we did not catch but three fish over 8 lbs on this three day trip , but yesterday we had a bunch of 4 and 5 pound fish. Today Tim and I went out to check some water and I had a 9 lb 2 oz on our first stop. We pulled off that and went looking for some more. Tim has really been kicking out the numbers and 30 pound plus stringer . I will only be around here about another week , so If you want to go fishing give me a call, and If I can not take you Tim can. Look for a 50 to 100 fish day and 30 plus pounds on your best five. You can really catch them anyway you want right now. As we did that today. My 9 lb 2 oz came on a deep crank , My favorite way to catch them. You can catch the 1 to 2 pounders till your arm falls off and to rest you can go a little deeper and get a toad every once in a while. Call me or email me and lets go.

I had Jimmy and Rusty  today from Tenn. Jimmy first fish was a 8 lb  and his second fish went 9lb 2 oz this really helped us off to a great start. We caught a bunch of good fish today and our numbers were not great but we went for quality we probably boated around 50 today and ended up with about 34 lbs for our best five. I know it was a hot one today and I was out of fishing shape. today was my first time to be on the water since June. I should be in more turn with the fish tomorrow. Looking for some big ones. I have Jimmy and Rusty for two more days.

I have added a few acres to the pond and had to build a bridge to be able to get to both sides. The bridge is 64 feet across and has a 8 foot fishing deck of the south side. All I need now is some water. The golf range is really taking shape as well as the grass is starting to really cover . This is all I am going to do for now , as I will return to my real JOB come Monday. I start on Sugar Lake Tuesday with a three day trip. I plan on being in Zapata for a few weeks so if you want to come fishing , get in touch with me. Falcon is on fire right now as The size and numbers are way up. I still have one spot left on the Peacock Bass trip in Jan.
