I thought I would show you a before and after shot of the work I have been doing around my house. With this extended stay here in Abilene I have had a chance to finally do the work around the house that I had planed. I have most all of my rent houses complete and rented so that work has slowed down , allowing me to do the projects around the house. Today I have the big cat coming again to finish up what we started a couple of weeks ago. I will be adding about 2 more acres to my pond and going to about 18 feet deep. I have the pond well stacked with bait and bass and this will be a great add to the pond making it about 4 to 5 acres. With this depth I will be able to grow and maintain some giant bass. The golf range is really taking shape as the grass is just going crazy. I will be returning to Falcon come Sept 10th as I have some trips on the books . Still here in Abilene . I have been busy with thing around here. Today I am feeling a little older as today is my birthday. I am also remembering my oldest son Brandon that would have been 35 years old today as well as we share the same birthday. As most of you know Brandon was taken from us on Jan 2, 2010 in a car accident. I started a clean up project this year around the house here in Abilene, and it has turned into a lot more , as I have added a golf range and I am in the process of adding about 2 more acres to my pond. We had a big dozer in here Friday doing some of the preparation to do this bigger project in the very near future. I still have to much water in the upper pond to do it now. I had to reschedule my Aug trips as I had things to do up here. I will be full bore guiding come Sept 10th thru the 30th on Falcon and Sugar. If you want to fish , let me know. Also I have filled my Peacock Bass Trip to Brazil , but if you want to go I can hook you up with some really good guys that have several trips they are doing , so give me a shout and I will get you hooked up with them. Wednesday, August 10th, 2016It has been a while since I have made a post. I am still here in Abilene, doing a lot of work on the estate and playing some golf with my friends . I was suppose to be in Zapata today and start fishing on Thursday, but I have had a change in plans and have postponed my trips I had for August. I will not start guiding again until the 12th of Sept.. I already have some dates booked but I will be there until the end of the month so I still have plenty open dates.
