Well this is the last day of April and I have been off Sat , Sun and Monday working getting the rent house ready to go. It has everything needed to make your stay a great one. Big screen TV, Wireless Internet, Indoor and outdoor cooking. Very comfortable beds for up to six. Covered boat parking. and cold air conditioning. We have made this very affordable too. The response has been great and we are filling up fast so If you have a thought about renting it , better get it done. I will be back on the water after a few days off and the wind is looking like it will be manageable tomorrow. I will have a full fishing report back up tomorrow as well.

Took out Bill and Pete Friday and someone turned the blower on man it was brutal out there. We did catch some nice fish but I only took a picture of one fish because if I did we were blown off our spot 100 yards. We did manage to catch about 30 fish and called it quits about 1 pm. The forecast for Sat and Sun even look worse so I am glad I am off. My Hammerhead 1 oz jig is about all we could fish today and feel the bottom. Speaking of the Hammerhead the response has been off the chart as I sold out in 7 days and my order is not due till Wen or thur. Falcon Tackle will have the last few I have as I have them their fourth order delivered , as they have not lasted long there as well. I also have our rent house ready to go , and it is very nice. We have cable with big screen TV, high speed Internet, indoor and outdoor cooking, very comfortable furnishings and beds. Covered boat parking, etc. As you can see we have it all. The days are going fast on the rentals so if you want a great place to stay whether you are fishing with me , or not, get your dates together and contact me for your stay.

Took out Jonnie again today and we were met with some stiff South winds so we planned our day in the Salada. We stayed in there till about noon as I had thought that the local traffic might not be out to much today or have returned home for the summer, NOT there were someone on everything in there that was wind protected. We did however find some fish but to protect what was there we left after we had caught a few good ones and the posy showed up. We left and went up the river and found some areas that we not as crowed and caught some fish but nothing over about 6 pounds. With the wind and this end of the lake we quit early and called it a day. I will be staying south for another month till it clears out down here some more when it get hot and the salada opens up a little.

Well I finally got back on the water today taking Jonnie out. We got off to a good start catching two really nice fish on the crank bait. We caught several more up to 5 pounds as well on our first stop and after that it was like we got into a smaller size fish for the rest of the day . It did not matter that we fish 2 foot or 30 foot the size after our fish place was just small. We caught the hell out of them with about 70 being an estimate .

Wednesday, April 25th, 2012I thought I would fish today, but Johnny had a closing on a house so it took up our day and he had a boat delivered so we ended up making it a work day instead . So I have had four straight days off the first time sense last Christmas that I have been off the water this long. Work is done and we are going to be on the water Wed . I will let you know how it goes, I plan on probing very deep today as it is time .

I had the day off due to a cancellation, but did not mind as I had things to do. I did get a bunch of jigs ready and I also stocked up Falcon Lake Tackle . I will be on the water tomorrow so I will post a fishing report tomorrow as well. I post a few days ago about our rent house and the response has been great as I have booked a bunch of days. I acquired this to rent out to my clients , and anybody else, at a very good rate so If you have a trip booked with me please check with me and stay at my rent house. I is really set up nice and can sleep up to six and has covered boat parking, big screen tv, indoor and outdoor cooking. Way safer and more comfortable than a motel room. It is also on the way to the ramp from my house so I can pick you up as well. It is $75 a night for two , $125 for four and $150 for six , all two night min.

Friday, April 20th, 2012Took out Karl and Isach today. No pictures again today. We really had a slow day as in numbers and size . Yes we caught five that went about 28 pounds and boated about 20 to 25 fish but not a one had the bait in their mouth. We lost more than we put in the boat , witch always makes it a slow day. We tryed everything today and we could have stayed on small fish but that was not what we were after. The big girls just did not bite for us today. I did get my order of Hammerhead Jigs in today so I will be getting out the orders fast. If you want some get them ordered as I sold out in 9 days last time. Falcon Lake Tackle will be stocked back up as well as I know they sold out as well. We did not throw the Hammerhead today because I did not have any either , wonder if that is why we had a slow day LOL>

Thursday, April 19th, 2012It was just Ron and I today on a windy day on Falcon. I still put in at the county ramp and headed south, spent most of the day in the Tigers. We had if you can call it a slow day catching only about 20 fish . I did not even get the camera out as Ron,s biggest was about a 6 pounder. I had a couple of 7 pounders and a couple more 6 pounders and we ended up with a low bag of about 31 or 32 pounds I did not weigh any of them but this was a close guess. We did again today have several fish take the Jig and not eat it and come off. The most productive bait we had today was the Hammerhead and we threw everything in the box at them today trying to get them to take a bait deep enough to get hooked up good . At on time today I had 7 good fish on in a roll and got one in the boat. The bites we there today we just had a hard time getting them in.

Took out Tate , Melissa and Ken again today. The weather was just great but at time it was a little too calm. We caught the Hell out of the fish early but the problem most of them were on the smaller size. When we did get a good one on they would come to the top and throw the jig. The fish were just not taking it very deep today and the few good ones we landed were lip hooked. Melissa had the most big fish on but lost them just the way I described. Even if we had got all the fish in that we saw would not have topped yesterdays total ,but sure would have help our stringer that was only about 30 pounds . We boated over 70 fish today just not girls.

Took out Tate , Melissa ,and Ken today. We had a little north wind to deal with early and was finding to bite to be a little slow. We got bit some and Tate caught an 8 lb 8 oz and a 8 lb 7 oz early . Tate got on an absolute monster up shallow and when he tried to turn here after she came up out of the water , she went down and the other way taking his new Hammerhead with her. She was a DD for sure. The wind laid an I hit main lake and we found the mother of all mother loads. They hammered the big fish with the Hammerhead Jig . I had them throw different baits on these fish and they would not eat it. They would pick up the Jig and it would be on again. Tate and Melissa both got their personal best Tate had his first ever DD that went 10 lb 6 oz and he is getting a Rep made I do not blame him . Melissa got her personal best with an 8 lb 0 oz. Ken was not far behind with his best a 7 lb 15 oz . I knew we were on to something when Tate set the hook and this monster fish came up trying to take the Hammerhead out of the 7 pounder he had on. We did not know until we got the fish to the boat witch one he had on. He caught the 10 lb 6 oz about 10 min later but the other fish had a bigger head.
