Took out Walt , Dean and Jeff again today. The weather was great and the lake was calm. We started the day out with the squarebill again today but had to quit it early because a boat came in on us so we left. We were down a little on the numbers from yesterday and our sack was only 33 lb 9 oz but really we had a bigger sack on today than yesterday. We lost four really big fish today . The day was just one of them days that we could not put them in the boat. These three were great guys and could fish really well even though I gave them a hard time . We really had two good days it is just when you have a day like yesterday , it makes 33 lb 9 oz seem little . Dean did get his personal best today a fat 8 lb 14 oz pig.

Took out Walt , Dean, and Jeff today for a Falcon lake guide trip. We had a bunch of rods on deck with four of us in the boat. We started eaarly with the square bill and had some good solid fish on it . Two over seven pounds and one over 6 pounds. After that was over we got down to the business of putting some big fish in the boat and that is what we did. We caught over 60 fish today and a bunch of 5 to 9 lb 11 oz . The 9 lb 11 oz was the biggest for the day and Jeff caught it his new personal best . It is the last picture in the pictures it is also the fifth one too, I had to add the other picture of that fish to make it even number all the other fish are different fish. even the double. We real had a good day and caught them on a little of everything . Our best five fish today was 39 lb 5 oz.

Took out Ryan and Vinnie today for a windy Falcon Lake Guide Trip. We went south and fished what we could and did ok despite the wind. Ryan and I both got a butt whipping on a couple of fish that got the best of us, but we did catch a few big ones . Vinnie did the best with two over 7 pounds and one over 6 pounds He boated 17 fish for the day. Ryan caught one that went about 7 and I had one that went 9 lb 12 oz. We boated about 40 fish today and had a fair stringer of 38 lb 4 oz on our best five.

Took out Jimbo and Jack today. Jimbo brought Jack down to get him into more bass fishing. It did not take long or much to get his personal best , the first picture and the fish went 4 lb 15 oz. on a square bill. He caught a couple more in the 4 pound range on the bill and then it was time to go deep. I had him on fish and they bit but he had a little trouble on his first three and they were all 7 to 9 pounds. But on his fourth try after a breakoff and a hook change he connected on a fish that everyone is looking for a toad 10 lb 13 oz to be exact . Now this personal best will be a little harder to beat. We did catch a nice sack today and we also lost some really nice fish to boot.

Took out Jimmy and Kathy today. It was going to be a little windy so we stayed close to town all day and had to share a little water with several guys that we fishing tournaments. We had to play little head games to get people to move but we did and we did catch a nice sack today . We just did not catch a bunch today but what we caught was quality. If you read my blog a couple of days ago you know I caught a fish with a crank bait stuck on the side of her head and She weighted 9 lb 7 oz Well of all the odds I caught another one today that had a crankbait and fishing line atached to it and She was 9 lb 1 oz Go figure what are the odds. This time this crank bait was not one that I recognized. And to top off the story I caught her on the same spot that I caught the other one. I guess that the other fish is letting the word out that if you have a lure stuck in you and you want it out go to this point and Tommy will get it out for you and let you go free to boot.

Took out Kenneth and Rusty today for a Falcon Lake guide trip. The wind was predicted to be up today but it really was not that bad. We started in more protected water and did well but when I realized the wind was not a factor we went main lake and we just started doing better. We caught some really nice fish today and Rusty got his personal best today an 8 lb 2 oz on a square bill, now that is a nice square bill fish. I had two over nine pounds today and there is a little story about the fish pictured with the crank bait stuck in the side of her head. I fished Mark and Scott yesterday and Scott broke this fish off and I told him that she went 9 or 10 pounds. She even came up again trying to throw the crank stuck to her head. Well I caught her today on a fluke and she still had Scott’s crank bait stuck to her head. She weighted 9 lb 7 oz with the crank bait because that is how I caught her. I got the bait and will hang it on my wall. We had several 5 to 7 pounders today and a five fish stringer of 40 lb 12 oz

Took out Mark and Scott today. I had Mark and another freind a month ago and he could not stand it as we were over fourty pounds last month so he came again a brought someone else. Well It was a little breezy but the fish did not mind as we just clobered them today both numbers and size. We did not land four or five monsters but we did land some good nones as you can see by the pictures.
We had another great double today ,pictured,Scott was on fire today he caught his personal best five times today with fish over 8 pounds his biggest landed was an 8 lb 10 oz fatty. The biggest fish he had on today was well over ten on the crank bait and she jumped out of the water and headed down for deep water and broke him off, but we did get to see her and she was an absuliute pig of a fish. I lost a ten at the boat that just came off mainley because I had to set the hook left handed and I can not power into them like I need to. We ended up with a 42 lb 3 oz bag and all three of us had fish over 8 pounds but Scott had four of the fish in the five fish stringer .

Took out Justin and Ryan again today. We put in at the state park and fished that end today. The forcast was for wind , well we never got it and it was hot. We had our chance at a really big bag today like 45 pound plus but the fish just kicked our butt today We lost 5 fish that we saw either jump and come off or come off at the boat or for no reason just come off. I broke two off today that I did not even turn. All the ass whipping we got we still managed a good stringer of 36 lb 12 oz. One fish in perticular we had on both days and she is smart and huge We have had her to the top twice and she won both times. I plan on one of my clients to get her in the next few days I know she is over 10 pounds for sure.
