Well I finally made it to Abilene. I had one blowout and then a bearing went out. Had to leave my boat to get the wheel bearing fixed. Well I want to get to the fishing. I had Tim take out Chuck and John for me today. They had booked four days with me and I had fished them three, but felt like I needed an extra day to travel and glad I did because I needed it. My three days had produced a 123 lb 5 oz 15 fish and Tim took tem today and they had 36 lb 9 oz today. That put them with twenty fish that went 159 lb 14 oz A good comparison is Paul Elias’s 132 four day twenty fish string that holds the BASS record and it to was on Falcon About this time a year in 2008. I will have pictures of their todays catch later after I get them uploaded from Tim. I will do more pictures later but I need to teach Tim to take his pictures as good as he fishes.

Took out Chuck and John again today this was their 3rd day of a four day trip, but my boat is in and I am going to get it so I am putting them with Tim tommorow, They will be in good hands as Tim will put them on a bunch of big fish. I hope they can take it because we put the whipping on the fish again today catch 76 fish and having another 40 pound bag. That is 184 fish put in the boat in three days . They are moning about their thumbs are sore and have one more day to go. Our best five today went 40 lb 10 oz . All on soft plastics. We fished deep all thre days and most all of the 184 fish were quality . We had 36 lb 14 oz first day , 45 lb 13 oz second day, and 40 lb 10 oz third day  that is 123 lb 5 oz in fifteen . I will get their weight from Tim tommorow and see what their four day 20 fish weight might be. Remember Paul Elias was 132 pounds 20 fish four days. It looks like they will probably be somewhare around 160 to 170 pounds in Twenty is this lake sick or what.

Day two with Chuck and John. We had a great day yesterday but we had a hell of a day today. I kinda keyed in on few things yesterday and we put it to work today and work it did. We just caught fish after fish after fish today and we boated 59 fish today up from 49 yesterday our bag was bigger as well with our best five going 45 lb 13 oz anchered buy a 11 lb 4 oz pictured in the last two pictures in this report. I caught some fish on the crank bait and I lost an absulute monster at the top of the water with the crank early. John had caught a 8 lb 11 oz fish that like the rest of the fish were just kicking butt. I told him that be ready because we were on them and he might get a big one on. Well he lost two that kicked his butt but we did not see them and then it happened he got on a hog and he had her all up around the boat and she was taking him for a ride. She made a last second surge and broke him off . this fish would have put us real close to five that went 50 pounds. We had 45 lb 13 oz with a 7 lb 3 and she was well over 10. I got several good looks at her and she was as long as the 11 lb 4 oz but had not spawned out she was still fat.

Took out Chuck and John for the first day of a four day trip. We hit the water running and running South we did . Today we were begging for a little breeze but it never came. We just smoked the fish today and Chuck was on fire We caught 49 fish today and Chuck had 24 of them. Most of the fish we caught were just great quality up to 8 pounds. We did not have but a few that were under five. We had alot of heavy 6 pounders today. We caught all our fish on soft plastics in 12 to 24 foot .

Took out Erick and his son Ben today and wow it was a nice day and the fish were biting good for us. We started smoking them on our first stop and they caught several 5 to 6 pounders before they let me stop them and get some pictures. Ben got his personal best a 7 lb 9 oz after losing a lot bigger fish eairler. Eric got the biggest today a 8 lb 13 oz pig. Almost all the fish were post spawn but healthy. we fish deep all day way south on the main lake. We caught them strong until about 1 or so and than it slowed down quite a bit. We caught about 40 fish today and almost all were 5 pounds or better.

Took out Charlie and Mark today. Today was nice so we could run anywhere we wanted today so we moved around and we caught a bunch of quality fish. Mark had a 9 lb 1 oz for the biggest ,but we had several over 7 pounds and dozens of 5 and 6 pounders. I think we caught 70 fish today. We did not catch very many on the same spot ,maybe 10 or so came off of one spot. We caught most of our bigger fish on soft plastics tex rigged.

Took out David and Tim today. It was finnaly nice today with little wind and I got to go main lake. We did not fish for numbers and stayed deep all day. Time caught three nice fish all about 6 pounds abd I did not weigh or take a picture of him and should have but I really thought the way he started I would get plenty of big fish pictures. David is the one that got the big fish on but he only landed two of them a 7 lb 11 oz and a 7 lb 14 oz. He had another at the boat that went about 9 and another over 10 lb that came up to the surface and took him for a ride. I tryed to get him to bet me that he was going to get a big fish on on this spot and the fish was going to kick his butt, he would not bet me and a good thing because he would have lost.
