Took out Jeff and his wife Adeela today. Today was a north influence but nice. The fog was heavy early but we went south by electronics. We did not catch very many today but we had a monster that went 11 lb 12 oz early still in the fog. Adeela caught another nice one that went 7 lb 10 oz and we had a six and a couple of fives to top out our five fish stringer at about 36 pounds. We stayed deep for the bigger bite and did not get many but when we did it was quality.

Took out Jeff and his son Brandon today. After yesterday with numbers and no big fish we did just the opposite. We did not catch a bunch 16 today but they were big ones. We only caught 4 fish under five pounds and they were heavy 4 pounders the rest were over six pounds and the biggest a 9 lb 15 oz. Our smallest in a five fish stringer was a 7 lb 2 oz. I did not really fish any different today but the girls were just biting for us today. Our first spot was the best as we caught 10 fish and 8 of them were over 7 pounds. I wanted to fish Mexico but Jeff did not want to but Texas was not to bad today.

Wednesday, December 29th, 2010Took out Jim and Eric today. The weather was just great and we caught fish but never got on the big bite today. We boated about 30 fish today with 4 of them over five pounds and the rest 2 to 4 pounders. Eric did break off a big fish and the reason we knew it was big it came up and tried to shake the bait, that was stll stuck in her mouth, out. We mainly fish deep today ,but did move up to see if the big fish had moved up, but our best bite was still in 16 to 22 foot of water.

Tuesday, December 28th, 2010Well I made it back and am ready to get on the water tomorrow. It looks like a good warming trend for the nest couple of days should make the fishing good if the wind does not get to bad. I will be busy for the next few days so I should have some good on the water reports you can get back on. Hope everybody had a good and safe Christmas. Tune in tomorrow for a fishing report. Took out Mark and Charlie for a taste of Falcon today. We got out early and started whacking fish right off. Charlie got the first picture taker a good heavy 7 pounder and than Mark stuck a 9 lb 1 oz pig. Than I stuck a 8 lb 11 oz chunck so we all had a good one early. We just keep catching and catching till we lost count but somewhere between 80 and 100 but what mattered was we wanted over 40 pounds today and I finally stuck a 10 lb 3 oz monster of a fish to get us over the top at 41 lb 15 oz. Today was the last trip I will do until after Christmas and what a day to leave on. We caught every fish on tex rigged soft plastics most in 16 to 22 foot.

Took out Ramon and Sotero today. It was cold early but turned into a good day with light winds. We put in about 8:30 and just started hammering them first stop. Ramon was on a roll with eight in the boat before Sotero and I had a fish. Ramond’s ninth fish was a brute 9lb 12 oz , He fished with me two weeks ago and caught his personal best a 9 lb 13 oz so this was his second lifetime biggest. After he had all the glory Sotero and I got cranked up with some brutes as well. We did not catch but about 25 fish today but we did not fish shallow either. We were getting enough big bites that we just stuck with that and it paid off with a real good 41 lb 13 oz stringer in five. Tex rigged soft plastic is all we did.

Friday, December 17th, 2010Took out Rodger again today. We were looking forward to finally getting a pretty day to fish. We put in in the Tigers as I wanted to fish my deep stuff that I had not been on in a couple of weeks. We found the bite to be very slow and we did catch some fish but it took a while. I did go in and check the shallow bite and the fish were there but small in size so we decided that we had caught enough small fish, so we went deep again and found some fish in 25 to 30 foot . I caught three pretty nice fish to 6 pounds and Rodger was having a tough time of it he got bit and would get them on but could not put them in the boat. at one place he lost 6 in a role. All in all it seemed to me that the bite was a little off from what it has been,but that happens even on Falcon.

Took out Roger today for the first of two days with him. We got the tough day over with windwise. We caught some good fish and a good number as well, but we only weighted one and she went 8 lb 3 oz. We caught three more over six and some 3 to 5 pounders as well. For the most part it was windy and we stayed protected. All our fish came on the Mag Fluke in 12 to 16 foot.

Took out Lou today for what was a windy day. We ended up catching quite a few and we caught three good ones two that went 7 lbs and 0ne about 6 and a half. There were plenty of bucks on the bank and the wind just would not let me out on my deep stuff. All our fish came on soft plastics
