Took out Mike again today for a Falcon Lake Guide Trip. The South wind was up and since we had a good day on the South end I decided to go North today. Although we did not catch as many as yesterday we sitill caught some big ones including this 10 lb 5 oz and 8 lb 7 oz. Mike lost another 10 pounder at the boat as I was trying to grab her see twisted the hook backwards and came off. The 10 pounder pictured was stuck deep but she made it ok. We were fishing the wind blown points and it was tough feeling the bite. We both lost several fish today, I had one on for about 20 sec and I could not turn her, She in other words kicked my butt. No crankbait fish today all we on soft plastics Tex rigged.

Monday, March 29th, 2010Took out Mike on a Falcon Lake Guide Trip today. It is hard to describe the bite we had today. All I can say it is Falcon. Mike came with no rods and no tackle, so We was using mine and I only had one crank bait rod in the boat. We took turns throwing it and we we catching fish left and right and big ones to boot. I had the biggest a 10 lb 11 oz but mike did not mind as he was loading the boat with 8 pounders. I pulled off these fish as to protect the spot, after we figered out that we had over 40 pounds in five. 43 pounds 1 oz to be exact. I hope you are enjoing my Falcon Lake fishing report as I really like the comments you have about it. The rest of the pictures will be in the gallery even the 10 lb 11 oz I caught.

Saturday, March 27th, 2010Took out Fiddler and his son Brett the last two days. My big bite was a little off as we only had a few 6 to 7 pounders. We caught some fish but just not the size that I have been on. I do know that in alot of places the spawn has already taken place because the fry are hatched. I can not wait to get this spawn season over with it seems like it has went on forever. I am ready for these fish to get deep and stay out there.

Thursday, March 25th, 2010Took out Brett and Jim today for a Lake Falcon Guide Trip. It was wind out of the north today. We became bank pounders for a while and I actually caught a six pounder and a eight pounder shallow. Brett and Jim were struggling with the wind and the flipping so I busted some big water and went to a place where we could fish deeper and had enough protection from the wind that I couuld hold. Man did it pay off. We caught two more over eight and a seven and some more three to five pounders.

Wednesday, March 24th, 2010Well it was nice and calm today and we just whacked the big fish deep. Falcon Lake did not let us down today. We caught nine on our first stop and did not have a fish under 5 pounds. Three of them were solid six’s and three were solid sevens. Our next stop Rick caught an 8 lb 2 oz this was our biggest of the day. We also caught another 6 pounder and two more over 5 pounds. We decided to make a major move to a differant end of the lake and Carl caught a 7 lb 7 oz. As you can see we caught alot of good quality fish today. We boated about 30 fish today and 25 of them were five pounds or better. We fished big baits and we fish deep. 20 to 30 foot. Be sure to check out the gallery I took pictures of all of their fish over 6 pounds and I caught several 6 to 7 pounders that we did not take any pictures of.

Wednesday, March 24th, 2010If you were trying to log on last night the my web server was doing some work and was down for several hours, so welcome back. I took out Rick and Carl today and the wind was back up out of the South. We had to stay shallow for the most part. We caught about 30 to 35 fish but as expected alot of small fish we did catch one 6 pounder and five 5 pounders to make the day respectable. The wind is to be less tommorow and I have them again and we plan to stay deep. I took a few pictures, but I forgot to put my card back in the camera. The card is in the camera and look for some pictures tonight.

Friday, March 19th, 2010Took out Greg and his two boys today on a guide trip on windy Falcon today. We di not catch a bunch of fish today but we caught some good ones. Hunter and Haden both had their personal best Hunter 7 lb 6 oz and Hayden 6 lb 15 oz. Dad had his but lost her at the boat. We were snake bit on this one point We lost four fish that we all saw three of them right at the boat. I know the big one always get away and they did today. Haden lost one that was about 8 lbs his dad lost a 10 pounder and I lost two one about six and the other was a monster 10 to 12 pounds. We could have or should have had a monster five fish sack, but we still had 31 pounds. I do not know why these fish came off other than it was real windy and we did not reaally get a good hook in them but we will try again tommorow.
