Feb 28 001Feb 28 002Today I took out Dusty and Matt for a trip on Falcon. This was one of them days you wish you could stay at the house. The wind was really blowing today. We had no choice but to stay up in the cover out of the wind the best we could. We did not catch many but we had a couple of good ones including this 9 lb 6 oz caught in three foot of water. We lost a couple more pretty good fish in the brush. We need a break in this weather and we are not getting it tommorow as the wind is going to turn around to the north and blow just as hard as it did today.

fEB 19 Took our Rauel and David on A guide trip on Falcon today. What a pretty day for a change. We fish several spots and several differant depths. Our most productive depth was 10 to 12 foot. We boated about 30 fish today. Rauael had his chances as he broke off four fish. Three of them we did not see, but one we all but had her in the boat and she was at least an 8 pounder. Other than that we just caught some nice fish.

Feb 18 001 Took out Louie and his brother Larry on a Guide trip on Falcon today. It was a cold wet windy day. We pushed up in a pocket and stayed there most all day. We were on fish so think God we did not have to move around much. We boat 30 fish today and Louie got this nice 6 lb 7 oz Bass. I had another one about the same and lost one more that I saw that would go 7 lbs or so. All in all we had a good day but man was it nasty out there.

Feb 14 002Feb 14 003 Took out Tim,Jake and Mike for a guide trip again today. We fish up by the dam at Falcon yesterday and we went way up the river today. We did not catch a bunch of fish today but we had some good ones including a 8 lb 5oz by Jake his personal best and a 7 lb 8 oz by Mike his personal best. These guys really learned how hard these Falcon bass fight. We called it a day early because they had to drive back to W Falls. Water temp came up a little today, but a cold front is moving in tonight to put it back under 60 again.

Feb 11 002Took out Clay and Steve for a guide trip today. Falcon was a cold wet and windy one. We just tucked into some protected shallow water and stayed all day We boated about 35 fish today with our best a nice 6 lb 8 oz by Steve and that was his personal best. Clay and Steve came to Falcon last year in March and it was cold and wet then too. But these Falcon fish did not mind the weather as bad as we did. I am ready for some sunshine. Water temp was 58 today, down from 61 the day before. Falcon is still getting alot of traffic and this Weekend will be coverd up due to Bass Champs anglers going off limits Sunday.
