Out with Terry and John again today. We decided that we caught anough small fish yesterday that with a little less wind we would head South and fish a little deeper for some bigger fish. Man did it pay off. We did not catch a bunch of fish today but what we caught was quality. Our best five was 9 lb 7 oz , 7 lb 8 oz , 6 lb 3 oz, 6 lb , 5 lb. for a 34 lb 2 oz stringer. We stayed outside of the spawning pockets and most all our fish came in 15 to 18 foot.

Friday, January 29th, 2010Took out Terry and John today from OK. The North wind was just howling. We stayed close to the bank all day and we had the numbers catching about 35 but no big ones. I have them again tommorow with less wind so I expect to get our size back. We should be able to move around and locate some bigger fish. All our fish came in 2 to 4 foot today but that is all that we fished.

Thursday, January 28th, 2010Well after several good trips in a roll. Falcon kicked my butt today. I took out Mike and his Son Matt today. The wind was nasty today. We only boated about 10 fish today and we fish our ass off. I did loose a monster fish today as she bent my hook out. Mike had one about six pounds and the rest were smaller than that. It is suppose to be nasty hard north winds tommorow and I will have to regroup and face the wind in a differant direction. I will let you know how I do.

7 lb 7 oz
Took out Scott and Doug today from Alabama. We got off to a good start all three of us caught a good fish on our first stop. After that it was slow. We keep moving and checking deep and shallow and we found our best bite was on the 12 to 14 foot range. Doug caught two over seven and I caught one heavy six. We only caught twenty or so today. We had our chance a a couple of good fish but the broke us off in the brush. We did have a good stringer today going about 30 pounds.

We started out on a deep point ansd Danny caught this nice fish 6 lb 13 oz and I caught a four pounder. We tried a few deep spots and we caught one to three on everyone of them but the fish were not stacked anywhere deep. Tuesday, January 19th, 2010Well after the trip and the unload Sheretta and I got on the water about 12:30 and fished till 4:00. The weather was just great , no wind and warm. We did not catch a bunch of fish but we sure caught some quality. Sheretta caught the biggest a 8 pounder and she caught this fish 36 foot deep the deepest that she has ever caught one here on Falcon. I did muster a 7 pounder out of 28 foot. We caught a few more in the 4 to 6 pound range. After it really warmed up I went shallow to see if and had moved up and Sheretta caught another 6 pounder in three foot of water and I saw a few roamming around. It is fixing to happen.

Sunday, January 3rd, 2010 As I write this I am in shock as I lost my oldest Son Brandon Kelsey Law pictured above in a car accident today. This picture was taken May 23 of this year as he came down and fished with me for a few days. Brandon was on his way down here from Abilene to spend a few days with me and do a little fishing as he loved to fish. I is hard for me to grasp what has happened. Everyone that knew him will miss him. He left behind a wife and two kids Baylor and Brynne. Brynne is less than two years old and Baylor is four. Pray for us and the family to get threw this. Brandon loved his family and will be missed buy everyone that had the pleasure to meet him. Brandon I love you and miss you Dad.
